For over 400 years, the people of Dragon River have used tea-seed oil for hair growth and shine; to protect and nourish the skin as pure oil; to cook with it in our meals, in our drinks, uncles who swear by daily shots of the oil for eternal youth and wellness. Nothing goes to waste: the leftover pressed seeds are recycled into nourishing shampoo, a tradition my aunts grew up with, carrying forward the resourcefulness and reverence of our ancestors.
